Their well deserved warranty reputation is built upon it.Buying a new car (or even a used car ) can be a huge investment for a person. I have always found Hawke to be very fair and are prepared to go the extra mile on their customer's behalf. I am now able to dial in adjustments and know that it will return to zero. This avoids the erector tube springs losing their tension as they approach the limit of their adjustment.īy a fluke, after I reset the scope to its optical centre and fitted the two shims as per the included instructions, the scope was perfectly zeroed on the elevation adjustment for 50 yards and only 3 - 4 clicks out on windage. I was delighted when they suggested that I try a pair of their 25MOA scope shims which they supplied FOC. I contacted them again during the setup of the new scope as it didn't accurately return to my 50 yard zero. The current price is at least £100.00 more than I paid when I bought and registered the original. They recently replaced my six year old Vantage 3-12x44sf with a brand new unit, after I sent it in for a parallax fault. There must be a difference in performance between the Vantage and the Endurance as there is a £200+ price difference, i don't think I should have to accept a lesser model as replacement just because prices have increased since I bought mine, or am I being unreasonable? I wonder what consumer law says on this? I must say that I have always found Hawke customer service to be excellent, I am dissapointed that they seem to be digging their They replied that they were sending an optically equivalent model, and that it was priced at £329 and as I had only paid £229 for my scope in 2018 I was getting a good deal, Endurance scopes are now £500+! I don’t think the price I paid at the time is relevant, I returned a mid range scope and surely I should get the same in return not an entry level. I contacted them to say that surely I should get a replacement of the same model range, the Vantage are the current entry level range whilst the Endurance are a couple of steps above in the price range. I had returned ano Endurance 30 4-16x50SF, but they were sending me a Vantage 4-16x50 SF as replacement. Very nice I thought at first, but then looked closer at what the replacement was. They informed me there was a fault with it but as it was now an obsolete model they would send me a new replacement. It was bought in 2018 so is covered by their lifetime warranty. Hi, i have just returned a scope to Hawke for investigation.
